A new PNEK board for 2008-2009 was elected on the general assembly on March 13th.
Nils Henrik Asheim and Laura Beloff left the board, while Lars Midbøe and Trude Iversen was elected for two years.

As from March 1st, Notam will cut drastically in its free services towards its users, due to the sustained tight budget, according to a press release from director Jøran Rudi. From now on, Notam will focus its activities in the direction of
- more self-initiated and high-profile projects
- more commissions – music and sound art
- increased number of NOTAM-fellowships
- more production of text
- sharper focus on technical r&d
- more specialized courses and workshops
- more conferences and seminars
- increased cooperation with concert promotors.
