As from March 1st, Notam will cut drastically in its free services towards its users, due to the sustained tight budget, according to a press release from director Jøran Rudi. From now on, Notam will focus its activities in the direction of
- more self-initiated and high-profile projects
- more commissions – music and sound art
- increased number of NOTAM-fellowships
- more production of text
- sharper focus on technical r&d
- more specialized courses and workshops
- more conferences and seminars
- increased cooperation with concert promotors.

IKT Grenland and Porsgrunn Kunstforening are organizing a two-day conference and exhibition about the possible development of a cultural infrastructure for art and new technology in and around the cities of Skien and Porsgrunn.
Atle Barcley, the former director for Atelier Nord and PNEK board who has recently relocated to the region, will present a sketch for these developments which will be presented at the conference on Feb 14 and 15.
